Thetford Duplex & Triplex Thermocouple & Grill Shut-Off Kit

This is Thetford's genuine replacement kit for the grill thermocouple and gas shut-off (flame failure) device fitted to Duplex and Triplex Mk3/4 oven and grill units, including the SOH70XXX Triplex range. If the grill won't stay alight after releasing the control knob, or the flame supervision device has failed, this kit replaces the sensing and shut-off components that cut gas flow when no flame is detected. It is supplied as a genuine Thetford part and is intended to be fitted by a competent, gas-safe installer in line with the appliance's original wiring and fitting instructions.

• Q: Will this fit my Duplex oven and grill?
  A: It's designed for Duplex and Triplex Mk3/4 oven and grill units, check your model plate against the Mk3/4 range before ordering, as earlier Duplex versions used different thermocouple kits.
• Q: What symptoms mean I need this kit?
  A: A grill that won't stay lit once you release the control knob, or that shuts off gas unexpectedly, usually points to a failed thermocouple or shut-off valve rather than a gas supply issue.
• Q: Can I fit this myself?
  A: It's a gas safety component, so we recommend fitting by a qualified gas-safe installer familiar with Thetford cooker wiring.
• Q: Does the kit include the electrode as well as the thermocouple?
  A: This kit covers the thermocouple and shut-off device; if your electrode/ignition is also faulty, check our separate electrode and thermocouple kits for the same oven range.
