Aussie Traveller Awning Rafter

Curved Roof Rafters have a dual purpose. They are mostly used to prevent the awning canopy from sagging and, hence, ensure water run-off. They are also good for keeping the awning fabric taught, thus reducing wind flaps. Awnings that flap can cause your RV to shake or even damage the awning itself.

Quantity Recommendations

Rafters are sold individually, however, we recommend using

• 1 rafter for awnings up to 11ft, 
• 1 to 2 rafters for 12ft awnings,
• 2 rafters for awnings 13ft to 17ft,
• 3 rafters for use on awnings 18ft to 21ft,
• 4 rafters for awnings 22ft and longer.
