The Orion-Tr Smart is a professional DC-DC adaptive 3-stage charger with built-in Bluetooth. The non-isolated 24/12-30A model charges a 12V service battery from a 24V vehicle alternator or supply — a smart upgrade over a basic battery isolator or VSR — using a shared (common) negative between input and output.

Built-in Bluetooth lets you monitor and configure the charger from a phone or tablet using the free VictronConnect app — no separate display or extra wiring required.

Is this the same as the isolated version?

No. This non-isolated model shares a common negative/ground between its input and output, whereas the isolated Orion-Tr Smart keeps input and output on separate chassis grounds. It's not a drop-in replacement for an isolated charger — check your vehicle or vessel's wiring before installing, and ask us if you're not sure which type you need.
