ePOWER 2000W True Sine Wave Inverter with AC Transfer & Safety Switch

The Enerdrive ePOWER 2000W True Sine Wave Inverter with AC Transfer & Safety Switch converts 12V battery power into clean 230V AC, giving you household power anywhere — no generator or powered site required. Rated at 2000W continuous with 4000W surge capacity, it comfortably runs laptops, TVs, kitchen appliances, power tools and most other household electronics, even those with demanding motor start-up loads.

True sine wave output means grid-quality power that is safe for sensitive electronics, including laptops, LCD TVs, medical equipment and appliances with variable speed motors — unlike modified sine wave inverters, which can damage or shorten the life of these devices.

This version includes a built-in 16A automatic AC transfer switch and RCD safety switch, so the inverter seamlessly switches between shore/mains power and battery power with no interruption to connected appliances — ideal for caravans that regularly move between powered sites and off-grid camping.

Key Features

  • 2000W Continuous / 4000W Surge — runs household appliances and power tools, with surge capacity to handle motor start-up loads
  • True Sine Wave Output (<3% THD) — clean, grid-quality power safe for sensitive electronics and variable-speed motors
  • Automatic AC Transfer Switch (16A, <30ms) — seamlessly switches between shore power and inverter power with no interruption
  • Integrated RCD Safety Switch — built-in electrical safety protection with test button
  • Removable LED Remote Control Panel — included as standard, so you can monitor and operate the inverter from a convenient location
  • 5V/2.1A USB Port — charge phones and USB devices directly from the front panel
  • Comprehensive Protection — overload, over-temperature and low/high battery voltage shutdown protect the inverter and your battery bank
  • Compact, Robust Design — 444 x 230 x 115mm and 5.9kg, built for permanent installation in caravans, motorhomes, boats and 4WDs

Yes, we ship throughout New Zealand.

How do I know this will suit my setup?
Check the specifications listed above — particularly the continuous and surge wattage — against the total load of the appliances you plan to run at the same time. If you're unsure, contact us and we're happy to help you confirm it will suit your setup.

What's the warranty?
This inverter is backed by Enerdrive's 5-year manufacturer's warranty.

What size inverter do I need?
Add up the wattage of all appliances you want to run simultaneously. Common examples: laptop 60W, LED TV 80W, electric kettle 2000–2400W, microwave 1000–1500W. Choose an inverter rated at least 20% above your maximum expected load. Note that kettles, microwaves and heaters draw very high wattage and typically require a 2000W+ inverter and a substantial battery bank.

How long will my battery last running the inverter?
Battery life depends on battery capacity and inverter load. As a rough guide, a 100Ah lithium battery running a 200W load (laptop plus LED TV) would last approximately 4–5 hours at full charge. Heavier loads drain batteries faster, and solar charging extends run time significantly.

Is true sine wave necessary?
For laptops, LED TVs, chargers and anything with sensitive electronics, yes. Modified sine wave can cause overheating, reduced performance or outright damage to these devices, so true sine wave is always the correct choice for caravan use.

Does it come with a remote control panel?
Yes, a removable LED remote control display panel is included as standard, so you can monitor and switch the inverter on and off from a convenient location away from the unit itself.

Will it work with lithium (LiFePO4) batteries?
Yes, this inverter is compatible with both AGM and lithium battery banks. Just make sure your battery bank can comfortably supply the inverter's surge current when required.
