Can I use a standard charger with this lithium battery?
Lithium batteries require a charger with a lithium charging profile. Using a standard lead-acid charger can damage the battery or trigger the battery management system. Ensure your charger, solar controller and DC-DC charger are all set to lithium mode.

Can this replace my existing AGM battery directly?
In most cases yes, provided the physical size fits your battery box and your charging equipment supports a lithium charge profile. This model has no Bluetooth monitoring or internal heater, so check those points suit your needs before switching from AGM.

Can this battery be charged in cold weather?
This entry-level model has no internal heating element, so like most LiFePO4 batteries it should not be charged below 0°C to avoid damaging the cells. If you regularly camp in freezing conditions, consider a heated lithium battery instead.

How do I know what capacity I need?
Calculate your daily power consumption in watt-hours (Wh) by adding up the wattage of each appliance multiplied by hours of use, then divide by 12V to get Ah.
