Can I use a standard charger with this lithium battery?

Lithium batteries require a charger with a lithium charging profile. Using a standard lead-acid charger can damage the battery or trigger the battery management system. Ensure your charger, solar controller, and DC-DC charger are all set to lithium mode.

How do I know what capacity I need?

Calculate your daily power consumption in watt-hours (Wh) by adding up the wattage of each appliance multiplied by hours of use. Divide by 12V to get Ah. For lithium, size to 1.25x your daily consumption (80% DoD). For AGM, size to 2x your daily consumption (50% DoD). Contact us for help sizing your system.
