AUFocus 5kW Diesel Heater Kit – High-Output Heating for Large Vans

When you need serious heating — for a large caravan, a motorhome, or camping in genuinely cold alpine conditions — the AUFocus 5kW is the answer. At 5kW maximum output, it heats even the largest New Zealand caravans from cold to warm in minutes, then steps back to a low output to maintain your set temperature.

Like the 2kW model, it features Bluetooth control, smart thermostat mode, and ultra-low fuel consumption on low settings. A full installation kit is included — fuel tank sold separately.

Do I need the 2kW or 5kW model?

For most caravans under 7 metres with reasonable insulation, the 2kW is sufficient. For larger vans (7m+), motorhomes, or frequent alpine camping, the 5kW is the better choice. Both will heat a standard van — the 5kW just does it faster and handles cold conditions more comfortably.
