Can I run the hob on electric power only?
Yes. The 1000W electric hotplate runs on 12V power independently of the gas burners, so you can cook without using gas when you want to conserve your LPG supply.

Do I need a gas fitter to install this?
Yes. This unit connects to your caravan's LPG gas system and should be installed and commissioned by a qualified gas fitter to meet New Zealand gas safety standards.
