NRX-130 12/24V DC & 240V AC Fridge/Freezer – 130L
Dometic NRX-130 12/24V DC & 240V AC Fridge/Freezer – 130L – 130L Compressor Fridge/Freezer for Caravans
The Dometic NRX-130 is a built-in compressor fridge/freezer designed for permanent installation in caravans and motorhomes. Running on 12V, 24V, or 240V, it offers the efficiency benefits of compressor refrigeration — faster cooling, better 12V performance, and solar compatibility — in a format that fits your caravan's kitchen.
With 130L of usable capacity, the NRX series covers the range from compact van installations to serious touring caravans. The compressor technology means this fridge also functions as a freezer — simply adjust the temperature setting.

Is the NRX a fridge or a freezer?
Both. You can set any temperature between +10°C and -18°C. Run it as a fridge at around +4°C, or as a freezer at -18°C. Some models have dual zones.
How does it compare to an absorption fridge?
Compressor fridges cool faster, perform better on 12V and 24V power, and work well with solar systems. Absorption fridges run completely silently and can use gas, making them better for gas-powered setups without solar. For solar-focused setups, the NRX is typically the better choice.
