Do I need a professional to install a Heki roof vent?
Installation requires cutting a hole in the caravan roof and sealing around the vent frame. This is a job most experienced DIY caravanners undertake themselves, but it must be done correctly to avoid leaks. Our workshop can install this for you – contact us to book.

Is the Heki 2 suitable for New Zealand's variable weather?
Yes. Heki vents are designed for demanding European conditions and hold up well to New Zealand's sun, rain and hail. The raised double-glazed dome allows ventilation even in light rain, but the vent should be closed fully in heavy rain or high winds, and always while towing or driving.

Can the blind and fly screen be used separately?
