How does the sensor read my gas level?

It magnetically attaches to the base of the bottle and uses ultrasonic sensing to measure the liquid level from underneath, then sends the reading to the free Mopeka app over Bluetooth. No drilling or plumbing required.

Will it fit my LPG bottle?

This version is designed for steel tanks, which covers the standard steel LPG bottles used on most caravans. It attaches with built-in magnets and includes spacers and dielectric grease to get a reliable reading.

Can I use it for water or diesel tanks too?

Yes — the Universal model reads a range of liquids including water, diesel and oil, as well as LPG, so one sensor can monitor several tanks.

Do I need to be next to the tank to read it?
