The KiwiSat Automatic is the premium automatic satellite antenna for New Zealand caravans and motorhomes — specifically designed for the NZ market and set for the Optus D1 (NZ) and Optus D3 (Australia) satellites.

With a full 60cm dish for maximum signal capture, it automatically finds and locks onto the satellite at the push of a button — no pointing, no setup, just instant satellite TV. When you start your vehicle, the safety D+ wire automatically closes the antenna for travel.

Do I need a satellite receiver as well as a dish?

If you have an Avtex or Alphatronics TV from our store, the built-in satellite tuner handles reception — no separate receiver needed. Will this work with any caravan TV?

The dish connects to any TV or receiver with a standard satellite (F-type coax) input. If your TV has a built-in satellite tuner (DVB-S/S2) it will work directly. If not, a satellite receiver is required.
